“Yeah, this is fun y’know… We’ve been spending quite a bit of time in studios this year with making the ‘Hell To Pay’ album, so it’s kinda old territory, studio stuff again…” ~Jeff Healey
Welcome peeps! We have yet another great concert rarity for you today. This time out we’re going back to the summer of 1990…
Hot on the heels of the release of Jeff’s sophomore album, ‘Hell To Pay‘, the JHB performed this special live-to-air concert at New York City’s famous Electric Lady Studios.
The site of Electric Lady, in the very heart of New York City, had already had a long and storied history dating all the way to 1930 as The Village Barn‘ nightclub. Purchased in 1968 by legendary musician, Jimi Hendrix, Electric Lady Studios opened for business in 1970 and since then has played host to a virtual who’s who of the rock and pop world…

JH music just never gets old. I have great memories of the show I saw at the Bottom Line in NYC many moons ago.
I met Jeff at a private B-day party in Banff, Alberta way back in the early 80’s and have loved his music ever since. Awesome guy.
I really like the vibe on I think I love you too much, I see Mark Knopfler is jamming out on this, and the ending is very sweet, any fun stuff to add or does this song again say it all.
Great guitarist and vocalist. Haven’t heard much of him lately.
Hi Mark!
Jeff Healey passed away in March of 2008 after a three year battle with cancer. This and all official sites (www.facebook.com/JeffHealeyOfficial etc.) are run by the Estate of Jeff Healey – myself and Jeff’s wife Cristie.
Thanks for reaching out!
