Welcome Folks!
Today is a special day. March 25th 2014, would have been our dear friend Jeff Healey’s 48th birthday… and though another year slides by, his memory and legacy continue to shine ever brighter in the hearts of his family, friends and countless fans.
So let’s all take a moment to remember… Remember and celebrate Jeff’s life!
And as it turns out, we happen to have just the thing to help with that too… Check out this never before seen clip of Jeff performing his hit song, ‘Angel Eyes‘ down at his club, ‘Healey’s Roadhouse’ in Toronto, on December 28th, 2006. Backing him up is the superb Healey’s House Band (aka the ‘Jeff Healey Blues Band’) featuring Dave Murphy on keys, Alec Fraser on bass, Dan Noordermeer on guitar and Al Webster on drums.
This is the Jeff that is in our hearts, laughing, joking, playing beautifully and effortlessly.

Love this song and video! Jeff’s music still rings through our house on a regular basis. Very lucky to have seen him perform in ‘Healey’s Roadhouse’ and at home in Scotland. Truly a great musician, singer, frontman – and a genuinely ‘good guy’.

saw jeff at the house of blues in vegas before they had the barricade in front of the stage. stood right at his feet with my jaw on the floor as I realized how great of a guitarist he really was. i’ll never forget that night and am proud to say I seen Jeff Healy kick some major ass that night. I still have the t-shirt from that concert “Close Your Eyes And Listen” and I do.

Would like to wish Jeff a Happy Heavenly Birthday. I say that because he is an Angel up there watching over his family down here and knowing that they were thinking of him yesterday. That he was with them if only in the spirit sense of which I truly believe in. He does keep them in his arms safe from harm. So Jeff I hope you had a blast up there yesterday and were able to let your family know you were there.

I met Jeff in Brantford, Ontario when we were both 15. He was funny, SOOO handsome and very kind. My birthday is Februry 21, 1966, and Jeff would joke and call me “old lady!” I think of him often, all of the good times, our goofy behaviour and I always let him know that he possessed incredible talent, and that he had been given a very special gift.
