Welcome Fellow Babies to the first ‘Jeff Healey Rarities‘ instalment of 2014!
Today we have for you an absolutely fantastic radio broadcast of a Jeff Healey
Band concert from Barrymore’s in Ottawa, Canada, way back in May of 1988. This one’s a real treat folks, excellent sound quality, excellent performances and a couple of cool, rare covers ta boot… Bob Dylan’s ‘Like a Rolling Stone‘ and the Jimi Hendrix classic, ‘Foxy Lady‘. Dig y’all!

Really nice to hear, excellent sound quality. Some great rare songs, never heard live before. Wish I saw Jeff more than just once in 1998, he was one of the greatest performers in my lifetime. I include him with my favorites Hendrix, Gary Moore, Santana and Rory Gallagher. Wish his family all the best. Your website kicks ass! Thank you.
Thank you Tom! There’s some more cool content on the way and some really cool revamps coming to the site soon. Stay tuned!

What a great find still missed
Rog Hi,
This is a great recording – and wow what a blistering solo as an introduction! Wonderful music from the Maestro of Blues Guitar! Thanks for posting!
Warmest wishes and a great 2014 to you and yours Rog.
Graham.
Happy New Year and keep bringin’ it on 2014! Love it!
Great addition, Rog (thanks Lazlo)! Love the opener especially – ‘The Better It Gets’ one of my all-time faves and a great reminder of the early gigs on the club circuit.
Hey Steve!
I’m glad you enjoyed it! 🙂 Do you have early Jeff bootlegs? 🙂
