Welcome folks to the incredible, absolutely, 100%, almost, mostly, kinda, sorta, true-ish, entertaining tale of Jeff Healey’s first meeting with legendary Runaways guitarist (…and accomplished solo artist), Lita Ford, as told by Lita herself!

“I love Jeff Healey! Jeff’s great, he’s a friend of mine,” said Ford. “I met him in Munich, a long time ago. He was sitting in a corner eating some chicken noodle soup at this party. I looked at him and said, ‘Chicken soup, f#@k this chicken soup. Give that to me, Jeff.’ I said, ‘Here, drink this.’ It was a bottle of champagne. He sat there and drank the whole thing by himself. Next thing I know, he stands up and I go, ‘Here’s your cane.’ He takes the cane and says, ‘I don’t need this f#@king cane!’ We laughed hysterically.
So we’re walking around this party, Jeff and I got drunk together off more champagne and he said, “Let’s get out of here.” I have him by the arm, you know, he can’t see.”

“So I had my arm wrapped around his, leading Jeff toward the Scorpions’ after-party, but then I realized it was downstairs, not upstairs, “Hey, Jeff, the party is down here!” Before I knew it, we tripped on each other’s feet, fell down the stairs, and flopped right into the party! We had a blast!”

When’s the movie coning out and is there a book I can buy
This reminds me of the time I had forgotten something out in the car. Jeff insisted on walking out to the car with me to retrieve the forgotten item. We both had a few drinks and when we went out to the car, I didn’t see one of those parking bumps and well let’s just say there is some funny hotel security footage out there of us out there making friends with the bushes and the ground. Splat! Down we both went lol. We both laughed so hard!! Thank God we didn’t get hurt too bad. I felt so bad. I was the one who was supposed to be able to see. Poor Jeff just went along for the ride lol. This was, if I remember correctly, around September 17th 1993 in California Bay area. We had some fun times hanging out. I Miss Jeff so much. He was so amazing. Even when he had one too many. Lol!
Hi Patresia. The goal is to have the film ready by the end of this year. Check out the latest updates HERE
Also, there is an Authorized Biography in the works… Stay tuned! ~Rog
