Hello my friends and welcome!
We’ve got a bunch of updates to cover, so let’s get down to it shall we?
First off, we added the wonderful John Jackson cut, ‘Drinkin’ Time‘ to our Sessions archive. Jeff plays all the horns on this New Orleans-style romp and it is fantastic. We ran a piece on the making of this track a while back and you can check it out HERE.
Several vids have been added to to the site over the past little while…
Clips of the Jeff Healey Band performing ‘Confidence Man‘ and ‘Angel Eyes‘ from their first appearance on the Arsenio Hall show back in July of 1989, were added to the Video Gallery: Performances: 1980s archive.
…and a couple of rarer clips, the first being of B.B. King, Jeff and Edoardo Bennato – performing at Pistoia Blues in Italy in 1990; the second, the Jeff Healey Band performing ‘Evil And Here To Stay‘, live in Madrid in 1993, (featuring the late Washington Savage on keys…) were both added to the Video Gallery: Performances: 1990s archive.
This next vid is a real treat. This was posted by a fan on our official Facebook page and we just had to share it with you. This fella’s says he’s been inspired by Jeff… I have to say, I’m fairly certain Jeff’d be cool with that.
Great playing, great tone… Fantastic! Enjoy.

And finally, we’ve been asked to pass on a quick message from our good friends at in-akustik…
“You can hear and see Jeff Healey’s great and previously unreleased live recordings from concerts in Germany (1989, 1995, 2000) on our current CD/DVD release “As The Years Go Passing By”.
Please click on the link below to see a cool collection of pictures, videos and sound samples from the new set! Fans will also get the chance to win an *exclusive* blues package by entering a ‘picture contest’ on the site!“
So what are you sittin’ there waiting for? Go check it out! 🙂
Well, that’s about it for now, but we’ll be seein’ ya’ll real soon!
