Hello all!

One bit of news today.  Our dear friend and indelible fixture on the Canadian music scene, Greg Godovitz (Goddo!), is walking with the angels once again, flexing his charity muscles for a worthy cause.  We are very honoured to be playing a small part in his latest crusade…

In response to the ongoing tragedy in Eastern Europe, Greg will be auctioning off an autographed guitar in Jeff’s memory.  Monies raised are going to the Save the Children foundation to directly aid children in Ukraine affected by the conflict.

The guitar Greg is auctioning is pretty awesome. 

Back in May of 2016, Greg popped by Massey Hall with an acoustic guitar in tow.  We were prepping for the Jeff Healey 50th Celebration and Greg made his way around to all the performers to get their autographs…

Including; Jeff Healey Band alums Joe Rockman, Pat Rush, Philip Sayce & Rob Quail. Sonny Landreth, Walter Trout, Randy Bachman, Albert Lee, Donnie Walsh (Mr. Downchild himself!), Shakura S’Aida, and The Trews.

The JH50 house band; music director Stan Miczek, Jerome Godboo, Chris Cadell, Dean Glover. And Jeff’s wife Cristie, and his son Derek.

Given the occasion that led to all these wonderful signatures, it only felt right to Greg that the money be raised in Jeff’s memory.

The auction is running from March 2nd (the anniversary of Jeff’s passing) to March 25th (Jeff’s birthday)
